Hi Gary, I'll bet you, your wife and I are the only practitioners of the lost art of closed-captioning in the whole county! (Though I'm pretty sure you've hung up your typing fingers.)
Greetings Gary, I like your page. I was attracted by the black background - my favorite color. You're love and respect for Arthur C. Clark (and yes, he is resting in pieces) also attracted my attention. I hope to meet you soon.
Regards,
Morty Slaughter
You, got me into this, Gary. I guess that makes you my friend. I'll fumbling my way through some of features. Fortunately, we're taking a bit of a working vacation so I won't be checking in much. We may need another copy of The Rag for our big photo op. I'll send Dick by to pick one up, if I don't locate it in my pack rat pile. Gretchen
I have to comment on the fact that my father - the grammar Nazi who made me the person I am today - spelled skills with a z! WoW is going to ruin you, sir.
I sent a comment to you, Scott, but I see it doesn't show up here on my "wall." Try sending to the email address I just sent you. I'll be checking it on and off all day, so if I don't respond today it's the wrong address.
I have one wife, two kids, one grandkid, six cats, three dogs, two horses, and one recently-deceased iguana. I'm currently juggling three primary jobs (Red Lodge Books, the Local Rag, and my Who Pooped in the Park? book series) and far too many hobbies (the one sucking up far too much spare time at the moment is an insidious online game called the World of Warcraft).
If there's anything Scottish going on in town, I'm generally in the middle of it.
What I'm listening to
Gary Hoey (electric guitar), John Mayall & the Bluesbreakers, Opeth, AERO (American Indian Rock Opera), Wolfstone (Celtic Rock), and Tempest (also Celtic Rock)
What I'm reading
Rendezvous With Rama by Arthur C. Clark (may he rest in peace) for book club.
The Avenging Fury of the Plains by John McLelland (new Liver Eatin' Johnston biography) for fun.
How long I've lived in Red Lodge
5-15 years
What I like best about Red Lodge
