Have a great day. I'm planning on scanning a few of my old R.L. pics and posting. I used to live in this crazy apartment 10 steps down the alley from the back door of the Snow Creek. We'd drift back and forth through a night of partying and I'd end up with stacks of pint glasses. Whoever would be tending bar, Bobbi, Sr. or Jr. would give me a free drink for every 10 I brought back. good times. Do they still do the lawn chair races down the pass?

- John, I am a bit disapointed. I know many of these faces and I feel it is like trying to wake the DEAD. I must say they all seem to be a bunch of DEAD beats. Very little response, I guess ol' Morty will have to pay them each a little personal visit, hehehehe, if you know what I mean, hehehehe. The weather is getting good so I can risk some sun exposure, not tooo much the dark is much better for my complexsion. I am hoping to be home to attend the Variety show on Thursday Night, I do look forward to seeing you there.

Let's get the RideBoard going!
I was just talking to Chip about the value of a local ride board. With gas prices ever rising (and environmental consciousness too!), doesn't it make sense to cut down on the solo trips? Chip's exploring options for a physical rideboard, but I was reminded that this was one of my goals for this site. So I've made some tweaks to encourage it.

Create an event!
You may have noticed the new calendar here -- Planet Red Lodge now supports events! When you create an event, it shows up here for everyone to see, and you can also create and automatically send invitations. I'm just trying it out myself (that's a genuine event June 19; I hope to see you all there!), but I hope it will be of use whether you're having a community meeting, party, or fundraiser. As always, let me know if you're ever having trouble with the system. -John

Just an update about what's happening on this site...
Did you know that the "Gnome group" has been posting clues here? This club plays hide-and-seek with a gnome: somebody hides it, and gives clues to a wider community as to where it is. Some of the photos Kris posted a week or two ago were of the gnome. (She'd emailed clues to the group about where to go online to find it -- something about "the astrologer Clayton" -- and I gather a few people who didn't know about the Planet s… Continue
