I own Red Lodge Books and the Local Rag with my husband, Gary. I work full-time doing live closed captioning for the deaf and hard of hearing, captioning mostly sports. I live to caption major league baseball! I enjoy reading (duh!) and singing when I get a chance.

What I'm reading

"Breath of Snow and Ashes", from the "Outlander" series by Diana Gabaldon. I just finished "Kicked, Bitten and Scratched", and am trying to read "Omnivore's Dilemma" for my book club but struggling with it. Also "Pain Free."

What I like best about Red Lodge

The small town atmosphere. I love knowing people by name everywhere I go, and knowing that people really do care what's going on in each other's lives.
