- I am not a bum. I'm a jerk. I once had wealth, power, and the love of a beautiful woman. Now I only have two things: my friends and... uh... my thermos. Huh? My story? Okay. It was never easy for me. I was born a poor black child. I remember the days, sittin' on the porch with my family, singin' and dancin' down in Mississippi.

- The people, who put up with outrageous rents/mortgages and six-month winters in order to live life on their own terms, doing the things they love. (Man, I sure wish I'd have bought the house I rented on Haggin in '91-'92. The owner wanted 24K for it, which at the time seemed like all the money in the world.)

Billy Waldo and the Flying Grizzlies concert July 26
Billy Waldo and the Flying Grizzlies will be re-forming to play a benefit concert for the Stano Bustos Foundation on July 26 at the golf course. The gig will be a part of the Foundation's golf tournament, the proceeds of which will be used to, among other things, fund junior ski racing on Red Lodge Mountain.

Do you know what Waldo is doing in Bellingham. I was in the Air Force with him back ... then. Last saw him in 96. Planning to come to the July 26th thing in Red Lodge.

I had no idea you were involved in closed captioning. Kathy actually does the realtime CC (she's certified at 250 wpm +). I was the techie that developed a bunch of the software and the ergonomic stenotype machine. Now I just write about it.
