- I currently reside in bucolic Bridger MT, though I spend a lot of time in Red Lodge and lived there for a while in the early nineties. I'm a video post-production editor and a musician. You may see me this spring and summer playing with Lee Moran at the Snow Creek, or at the Billy Waldo and the Flying Grizzlies concert on July 26, a benefit for the Stano Bustos Foundation. I have a brilliant 8-year-old autistic son who loves the open spaces of south-central Montana.

- Been on a Victorian jag lately: "Vanity Fair," "Bleak House," "Far from the Madding Crowd," "Jude the Obscure," "Return of the Native," "The Mayor of Casterbridge," and currently "Dombey and Son."

- The people, who put up with outrageous rents/mortgages and six-month winters in order to live life on their own terms, doing the things they love. (Man, I sure wish I'd have bought the house I rented on Haggin in '91-'92. The owner wanted 24K for it, which at the time seemed like all the money in the world.)

Do you know what Waldo is doing in Bellingham. I was in the Air Force with him back ... then. Last saw him in 96. Planning to come to the July 26th thing in Red Lodge.

I had no idea you were involved in closed captioning. Kathy actually does the realtime CC (she's certified at 250 wpm +). I was the techie that developed a bunch of the software and the ergonomic stenotype machine. Now I just write about it.
